A 1,000 year old tree

Posted on January 13, 2013 by ayangonwoman under Happening in Burma/Myanmar, Travel

The sort of thing one would read only in books. Longer-aged than any wine, cheese or grandma. Truly a wonder.

Location? Sin-Tant-Nar village, Pa-Khan-Gyi town about 2 hours’ drive from the tourist town of Bagan. Try guessing the type of this tree.

It’s a tamarind tree.
